MoreReally cool little place. Plays great jazz to go along with the fresh sushi. Moderately priced.
MoreHad a lovely dinner here - it’s cozy and small in here, so make a reservation on busy nights! Menu was fantastic and easy to understand. The sushi was sooo good and and staff were very friendly and attentive despite the busy night. Go here if you’re in Weho looking for sushi and want something cute and low-key!
MoreOne of the well-hidden gems in West Y. Great food, very small and intimate with only a handful of tables and a small sushi bar. Totally worth it. But it's better to make a reservation if coming at a busy time.
MoreGreat food for a great price and nice atmosphere 😃🍚
Lovely food, great atmosphere, and good people.
Great food and service. Friendly staff.
Mmm went here for first time! Killer tacos and our server was very professional and polite! Can't wait to go back and try more restaurants in the canton area just moved and want to try them all
MoreFresh fish, good rice, and the best eel I have had at a Japanese restaurant in LA. Friendly staff as well.
MoreGreat hidden gem japanese. Very clean tasting.
Best sushi spot in West Hollywood. Only about 5 tables and 10 spots at the bar, but that’s what makes this place so special. Small spot with amazing sushi! Will be back.
MoreGreat service and really freah
Great food, excellent customer service!!!
Best of Best Sushi Bar in West Hollywood! I know this, because I am from Yokohama Japan!
MoreVery good fresh sushi Solid rolls and a good atmosphere. Tough to find parking and it can get busy so call ahead to prevent a wait.
MoreOutstanding. Nothing was disappointing.
Hidden gem in Los Angeles. A must!!
One of the best sushi restaurants in LA !!! Shoe the chef and owner gave us a culinary tour of our life. We would follow his recommendation on what is fresh and available at the season. Dont hesitate and give Ajisai a chance and you will never regret.
Moredecent, but i have other favorites around town.
Great sushi, the garlic albacore is amazing and the dinner deal is very reasonably priced at $21 for a spicy tuna roll and 5 pieces of sushi. Overall favorite sushi place in West Hollywood for quality + price
MoreSimply the best sushi around, period!
My husband and I got a stomach flu and food poisoning from this place. It looked ok in there, but probably fish was not fresh or something. We are dying from pain. On our way to emergency room ((
MoreIncredible service and delicious food! Wonderful experience here.
Amazing service and food! The freshest fish and wonderful customer service!
The sushi here is tasty, but a little too pricey for what you get. My friend and I split four of the specialty rolls and paid over $30 each.I tried the Mr. Rock Roll, Mr. Clinton Roll, Caterpillar Roll, and Ajisai Roll. I love albacore, but unfortunately the Mr. Rock Roll was a little disappointing because there was too much rice. The Mr. Clinton Roll was my favourite; the spicy shrimp and avocado paired really well and the tuna on top was very fresh. The Caterpillar Roll and Ajisai roll were both yummy, but not memorable.Like many authentic sushi places, the interior here is pretty small, with only a few tables and a sushi bar. When I came on a Thursday night, it wasn't that busy so the lack of seating wasn't a problem. Our server was very attentive and our food was prepared quickly.Although I enjoyed my sushi, I don't feel that it justified the price. If you want to get your money's worth, I'd pass on this place.
MoreThis place is so amazing! A hidden gem and must try if you can get a table. It’s small but worth the wait and tight space. One of my all time favorites!
MoreUnprofessional staff bad service food always not ready
Great sushi! The live scallop is amazing!
Great fish, attention to detail makes a big impact on the great quality of this restaurant.
MoreSo. Good.
Hemds down the best little sushi place in LA! Authentic sushi with a great vibe. Shoi is the owner and he never takes a day off! The staff is high strung but always give great service!!
MoreMy friends took me here last night. The food was amazing. Fish very fresh. The staff is great. Will be back.
MoreShoei is an amazing chef - some of the best sushi I have ever had.
Really solid fish, laid back feel.
Great food ! And chef really nice
Fantastic attentive service with food that matches it.
Good place to go eat been here about 3 times boom as sushi
Was my neighborhood sushi spot that I miss terribly since we moved. Shoe is a master and everything is so fresh and delicious!
MoreOne of the best Japanese restaurants in LA
If you are looking for a Sushi restaurant in the heart of West Hollywood... this is your place...a cozy and warm place for deliciously prepared 🍣
MoreSmall family owned business, delicious amazing quality sushi and service consistently!!! What not to love about this secret neighborhood gem!
MoreGreat sushi!
Ajisa is the best sushi in West Hollywood, Mr Shoei is the warm, friendly presence behind the sushi bar. Always worth dropping in to say hi!
MoreThis place has limited street parking as well as parking structure and located near shopping stores. I always suggest making reservations whenever you can. Im sure this place can get quite busy on the weekends and peak hours.
MoreSmall lil mom and pop sushi place delicious fresh seafood. Must try the live scallop. Go early before they sell out
MoreFresh sushi, good sake, authentic.
Very quaint little restaurant. Incredible food. It was recommended by friends that we just work though the featured items and we're very glad we did.
MoreAlmost don’t want to post a review because I want to keep this true hidden hole in the wall to myself.
